We have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager

Client: Our client is one of the world’s most globally successful Software-as-a-Service companies. They offer online document management, web collaboration and project management software for construction, engineering and facility management.

Location: Lima, PERU

Territory: Peru & Bolivia

Reporting to: SVP in the USA

Salary: Up to US$110K + Very substantial performance based bonus

Promoting and selling online information management solutions. Undertaking business development, sales prospecting and negotiation activities across a range accounts.

Responsibilities
-Generate Sales
-Achieve required sales targets
-Maintain product price
-Meet targets for calling prospects and lead follow up
-Generate new leads and prospect for opportunities
-Attend and participate in industry functions, product seminars and trade shows.
-Manage time effectively to ensure maximum productivity
-Plan and set objectives for client meetings
-Develop and maintain account plans
-Maintain an understanding of the businesses within the assigned territory and the factors that influence spending patterns.
-Identify new key clients and set goals and plans for securing new clients
-Update and maintain accurate data on CRM.
-Prepare written presentations and proposals.
-Question clients to elicit needs and respond to objections
-Understand competitors’ products in terms of positioning, features and benefits, pricing and account acquisition strategies
-Maintain excellent knowledge of products including their demonstration, pricing and administrative procedures.

General
Maintain knowledge of products and current Sales procedures

Contribute to Team Performance
-Submit detailed reports accurately and on time
-Demonstrate leadership, particularly in the areas of business insight and innovation in process improvement
-Contribute to team meetings

Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
-Consistently met and exceeded sales targets (solid career track record in sales)
-Sold services or complex products requiring “solution sales” (ie selling to multiple stakeholders)
-Knowledgeable of the sales process and effective sales techniques.
-Excellent computer literacy with a variety of software packages.
-Prospecting and networking – able to use referrals and contacts to build networks, can engage prospects in discussion naturally; comfortable cold calling and can build rapport in any circumstance, proven track record generating own leads

Desirable:
-Resources/Construction industry experience
-Experience with EDMS systems

Additional Requirements:
-Current drivers license and car
-Ability to travel
-Valid work rights for country where position located
